Berserk or Die is an intense indie action game from Nao Games that challenges you to become the last soldier standing on a chaotic battlefield. Surrounded by enemies coming from two sides, you must fight with desperate fury or face certain death. The game’s signature feature is its frantic keyboard-based combat system, where pressing multiple keys at once increases your attack range and unleashes devastating combos capable of wiping out entire groups of enemies.

Movement is limited to attacking left or right, forcing you to commit fully to each encounter, building up a special bar for explosive finishing moves. Between fights, the mysterious Peddler offers vital supplies healing items, weapon upgrades, and rare relics that can mean the difference between survival and defeat. The game features several characters from different eras, each wielding a variety of weapons — swords, katanas, great axes and staves from a vast arsenal.

The combat intensifies as stronger enemies appear in later stages, making strategic use of gold and experience points essential to progress. The unique control scheme creates an authentic sense of desperation and brutal combat, supported by both keyboard and gamepad. Success depends on mastering the rhythm of button combinations and managing resources between increasingly brutal daily battles.
