TerraTech Legion is an action game from Payload Studios that puts you in control of customizable vehicles to fight an AI invasion threatening the galaxy. As a Tech Priest, you must destroy Legion bots, outposts, and factories on multiple planets before they turn the worlds into techno-organic wastelands. The core gameplay revolves around building and customizing your vehicle with modular components such as wheels, boosters, chainsaws, and orbital lasers that directly affect movement and combat capabilities. You’ll face waves of enemies as you explore maps to find and destroy Legion factory outposts, culminating in boss battles against brutal mechs and planetary overlords.

The physics-based vehicle system dynamically responds to your design choices, allowing you to tear through enemy swarms at high speed, destroying both bots and structures in the process. Between missions, you can restore and repair your vehicles in mobile upgrade pods, scavenge new components from fallen enemies, and upgrade core systems. The game features three specialized corporations with different strategies: GeoCorp for heavy construction, Venture for speed and maneuverability, and Hawkeye Systems for advanced weaponry. Each planet offers unique environmental hazards, challenging terrain, and specialized boss enemies that require different tactical approaches to overcome.
