Delivery Pals puts players in the role of feline couriers for the last operating company on Earth. The planet is a ruin abandoned by its former inhabitants, with a corrosive atmosphere, anomalies, and monsters. Alien creatures are the only visitors to this world, flying in for specific dishes. Using thermal bags, your group must complete tasks and earn income to keep the business going in the hostile environment.
The main mission in Delivery Pals is survival, as the former human inhabitants are actively trying to shut down the business. They are systematically increasing quotas and trying to exterminate all remaining life on the planet, including the delivery people. To navigate this environment, players use a modified train, which serves as a mobile base for a crew of up to 7. This headquarters contains a computer for processing orders, an ATM for managing finances, and camera monitors to monitor teammates in the field.
Each journey begins with processing a task and then finding the necessary food. Ingredients can be found in trash bags, containers or obtained from the environment, for example by stealing an egg from a nest to make an omelette. The crew can use the kitchen table on the train to prepare meals if the desired item is not found. Accuracy is key, as serving the wrong treat to a customer provokes an immediate attack on the courier.
