About The Game
Escape from Ever After is a role-playing adventure set in a fairytale world threatened by a greedy megacorporation, Ever After Inc. The protagonist, Flint Buckler, must infiltrate this organization to sabotage its operations from within. To achieve this goal, he forms a reluctant alliance with his former adversary, a dragon named Tinder. Enemy battles are turn-based and require well-timed button presses to boost attacks or block damage. Enemies range from sinister versions of fairytale characters to creatures inspired by the works of Lovecraft. As the game progresses, new allies, rescued from corporate slavery, join the party.
Between sabotage missions, Flint spends his time on office chores and arranging his workspace, furthering his career. Exploration in Escape from Ever After involves navigating a variety of literary universes, from pirate seas to icy alien landscapes. The project's visuals feature a vibrant cartoon style, and a jazz soundtrack complements the atmosphere. Interacting with the world requires the character to solve puzzles and complete side quests.
