RIP Reincarnation Insurance Program is a top-down roguelite shooter where you take control of an elite operative of the mysterious Reincarnation Insurance Company. In a world devastated by the Corruption Virus, your primary objective is to exterminate massive hordes of zombies and free trapped souls so they can return to the cycle of reincarnation. The entire process is framed by meeting corporate targets and key performance indicators. The physics-based combat system forces you to constantly maneuver on-screen, dodging hundreds of enemies simultaneously, from slow-moving walking dead to lightning-fast mutants. The key to survival is finding and upgrading equipment from a vast arsenal.

Each characters death is not the end, but merely a stage in a metaprogressive system. Contribution points earned during clearings are invested in a permanent talent tree, unlocking new abilities and improving stats for subsequent attempts. Deep customization in RIP - Reincarnation Insurance Program allows you to create unique builds by combining active skills with passive blessings. The latter represent divine aid from the souls of great historical figures, granting a variety of buffs. The final challenge of each run is an encounter with gigantic mutant bosses, requiring a tactical approach and maximum firepower.
