Kritter Defend Together a hybrid of co-op action and tower defense, requires a constant balancing act between clearing areas and fortifying positions. A group of four must fend off endless attacks from alien monsters. Meanwhile, resource extraction occurs continuously. Found artifacts are instantly used to build turrets, repair radars, and restore energy shields. The death of a squad activates a built-in rewind function, returning the soldiers to the past. The saved knowledge and valuable materials allow them to adapt tactics for the next attempt. Exploration of the bizarre world is strictly limited by a timer. This mechanic forces the team to retreat to a safe base in time.

The emotional core of Kritter Defend Together narrative is the tragic fate of an artificial intelligence named M.Ark. After crashing, the damaged onboard computer of the ship Mission Ark 182 completely loses its navigation modules. To survive, the electronic mind synthesizes obedient bipedal creatures from dirt, carbon, and scrap metal. These clones are controlled by gamers, desperately trying to find the lost parts of the ship. Each foray reveals new fragments of the grim story of the starship's crash. The success of the rescue mission directly depends on the proper distribution of roles within the squad.
