Machine Child is a girl-rearing simulator developed by SYOJO KISHIDAN with graphics by renowned illustrator Ooyari Ashito. Set in the cozy town of Maldia, you must guide a girl through her formative years, making decisions that will shape her character, skills, and future destiny. You can choose to raise one of three daughters: a gentle and feminine one, a bold but kind one, or a caring young lady each with their own personality traits and unique reactions. Your journey unfolds through over 700 story events, ranging from simple adventures and aristocratic parties to encounters with otherworldly beings, all leading to 22 unique endings inspired by the arcana of the Tarot.

Gameplay involves choosing her activities studying, investigating rumors, shopping, or leisure while dressing her in unlockable outfits that reflect her journey and strengthening her bond, which changes her interactions with you. A tarot card system adds strategic depth, as collecting Inspiration allows you to draw cards that influence her development in various ways. Seasonal journeys reward players with unique commemorative illustrations: five scenes per season, plus special CGs for each daughter type. This blend of adventure, casual, RPG, and simulation elements creates a complex parenting simulator where every choice matters in determining whether your daughter will find happiness or face an unexpected fate.
