Dread Trials is a grim action-RPG about survival in a world that's almost lost the war. You find yourself in this chaos not as a hero, but as a person simply trying to survive and not break under the pressure of what's happening. Not every mistake here ends in death, but almost every one leads to problems. You can be captured, deprived of freedom, and then you'll have to find a way to escape, rather than start all over again.

Enemies don't just get in the way they overwhelm you with numbers and strength, and sometimes you have to retreat to avoid losing everything. The constant feeling of being on the edge never lets up. As you progress, you shape how you cope with this world. You can strengthen your attacks, you can seek survivability, you can change your behavior through runes that truly upend your usual actions. Plus, instead of killing enemies, you can break them and take them for yourself and then your former enemy becomes part of your power.
