Corebreaker is a fast-paced platformer with roguelike elements where you play as Nova, a robot awakened during humanity's final moments in a world overrun by machines. Your goal is to fight your way through underground ruins to the core, making choices that determine whether you rescue, seek, or destroy along the way. The game emphasizes precise controls and fluid movement: you run, dash, jump, and shoot your way through hordes of robots, and combine melee attacks to create devastating combos. Death isn't permanent after each failed playthrough, you can salvage resources and power-up chips to permanently upgrade Nova's abilities, weapons, and gadgets before diving back into the adventure.
