Three Kingdoms BOND is a deck-building strategy roguelite where you command historical warlords from the Three Kingdoms era in purely tactical battles. The game combines auto-battle mechanics with grid-based troop placement, focusing entirely on strategy without action controls or pay to win elements. Each match begins with a draft system in which you select troops from a random pool of warlords, build formations based on unit counterplay (cavalry defeats archers, archers defeat spearmen, and spearmen defeat cavalry), and exploit synergies thanks to the BOND system, which links warlords from different factions. Victory depends on troop placement before battle and proper analysis of your opponent's formation; matches last approximately 10 minutes.

The game features over 100 commanders with original illustrations, each with unique skills and affinities that create powerful combinations when combined correctly. Three main modes are available: Board Performance (tactical challenges with public success rates), Gunshi Chronicle (asynchronous ranked battles against other players), and Rival Match (real-time battles with friends). Resource management plays a key role, as expenditures can be carried over from round to round, encouraging long-term planning rather than the pursuit of instant power. Created by former SEGA veteran Yasuhiro Nishiyama (known for Sangokushi Taisen and maimai), the game emphasizes fair, logic-based competition, where every defeat serves as a lesson, and dominant meta-strategies do not exist due to the constantly shifting draft conditions.
