Getting fired can end a career, or it can start a lumber empire. Chop Chop Inc is a simulation and building game from NullRef Entertainment, published by rokaplay select, and its hero answers a harsh dismissal with an axe, a few trees and a business plan written in pure revenge.

The production chain is the heart of the game. Trees fall, logs turn into planks, planks turn into furniture, and furniture turns into money that goes straight back into the operation. Manual labor at the start slowly becomes a set of machines and production lines, and every upgrade changes what the yard is capable of.

The world keeps the joke running. Trees come in strange shapes, colors and questionable physics, and the crafting bench goes places no carpenter should: a wooden computer, a wooden weight bench, and other deeply unnecessary masterpieces. If it exists, you can probably build it out of wood, and the nearby city will happily buy it.

Growth opens the map piece by piece. New areas bring new tree types, new resources and new secrets, while strength and stamina upgrades turn your character into a proper working machine. High value furniture sets add bonus payouts for players who think beyond the next plank, and expansion feels earned because every machine was paid for in sweat and sawdust.

The business also has a human side. Quirky characters live around your headquarters, and helping them can end with them joining the production chain, completely voluntarily. Buying components covers what the axe cannot reach, so every problem has at least two solutions.

Chop Chop Inc suits players who like building games with a sense of humor: real economy loops, steady expansion and a world that never takes itself seriously. Start with ambition and poor financial decisions, and finish with an empire made of splinters.
