Warhounds is a brutal tactical simulator set in an alternate reality Africa, 2035, pitting a private military company against the Daamat group. Turn-based battles emphasize fair ballistics and fully transparent rules, eliminating point-blank misses. Operations lasting 25 to 40 minutes require consideration of terrain elevation, cover, and firing arcs. Each shot is calculated as a physical event: a bullet that misses its target can damage surrounding objects or hit allies.

Managing a mobile headquarters between missions involves budget management, equipment procurement, treating the wounded, and faction diplomacy. The commander has access to five infantry classes, complemented by unique veterans with distinct personalities and voice acting. Strategic planning in Warhounds relies on the use of high-tech equipment and intelligence gathering. Completing contracts directly changes the balance of power in the region, opening access to new resources.

The success of each encounter depends on the proper balance of forces and adaptation to the situation. Adjusting the difficulty level allows you to transform the experience into a rigorous test or a comfortable adventure.

Operator specialization and technological equipment:

• Combat exoskeletons - increase soldiers' endurance and protection in combat.
• Autonomous drones - reconnaissance of positions and target detection through obstacles.
• Optical camouflage - concealed movement of soldiers within the enemy's line of sight.
• Smoke screens - visually obscure dangerous sectors for regrouping.
• Diversity of classes - a combination of sniper, assault, machine gunner, grenade launcher, and specialist skills.
