Most night jobs pay you to stay awake. This one pays you to watch what happens while you are. 3 -Japan Stigmatized Property- is the surveillance horror case file from 日本事故物件監視協会, published together with Loxarc Inc., and it hands you the only position in the game worth fearing: observer.

The job is simple to explain and terrible to perform. You are a watcher for the Japan Stigmatized Property Association, monitoring surveillance cameras inside designated properties with dark reputations, and reporting every anomaly you see. Miss one and the mission fails. File too many false reports and it fails just the same. Success means surviving the full midnight shift, from 00:00 to 05:00, and the game stays very precise about what counts as survival.

The anomaly list reads like an incident report nobody finished writing. Furniture that moves. Objects that appear or vanish. Intrusions by human figures, or by things only pretending to be them. Lighting that fails, orbs drifting through the frame, bloodstains spreading on walls, and video feeds that degrade into noise. Then there is the category the files only describe as something beyond imagination. The anomalies appear at random, and some of them show up only on the right equipment: night vision catches what the standard lens politely ignores.

The realism is the game's quiet weapon. The shifts unfold inside properties that actually exist in Japan, four in total, each with its own atmosphere and its own ways of being wrong. Hidden object instincts turn every frame into a crime scene before the crime happens, and point & click pacing lets the dread accumulate slowly, at your own speed, which is exactly how dread prefers to work.

Difficulty comes in two contracts: Normal, for observers who want to keep their nerves intact, and Hazard Pay, for those who think the job sounded too safe. Streaming the shift is explicitly allowed, and the developers clearly enjoy the thought of people watching you watch the cameras.

3 -Japan Stigmatized Property- suits players who like their horror attentive: not reflexes, not combat, but the discipline of noticing. Take the shift, trust the cameras, report everything, and whatever you do, keep a professional distance from the things that should not be on screen.
