Steel and wire have no place here. Swarmdustry, a factory building strategy game from Mitchy Studios, replaces machines with a living, fleshy, ever adapting Swarm that players command toward relentless evolution.

The production network is an organism. Workers hatch from the hive, harvest resources, carry energy, and weave sprawling colonies of organic industry. Every structure, unit, and pathway belongs to a single living ecosystem.

Manual mining and crafting can only carry the hive so far. Growth comes from building massive networks of trails and transit pads that deliver resources to processors, each with its own role in the chain. Workers must be managed, because industry only runs as long as the Swarm is fed and directed.

Expansion unlocks new genetic codes. Growth accelerates, workers mutate into specialized types, and true automation comes online one mutation at a time. The hive does not just get bigger; it gets smarter.

Logistics sit at the center of every decision. Trails and transit pads form the circulatory system of the colony, and a blocked line starves the processors downstream just as surely as an enemy raid. Planning the flow of resources matters as much as growing the hive itself.

The world pushes back. Enemy factions challenge every step of the expansion and strike directly at the hive. Survival means balancing efficiency with ferocity, designing production lines and defensive strategies that embody the hunger of the Swarm.

Each map is procedurally generated from a seed and effectively infinite. Players can enable or disable enemies, trees, and even water, and tune difficulty scaling, the safe starting area, and the richness and frequency of resources.

The question every run asks is simple: will the hive wither under pressure, or spread across the planet like a living tide? Released on August 20, 2026, the answer depends on how well the Swarm is fed, armed, and evolved.
