Overview

Flotsam allows you to build an entire city, located on the water. Engage in its development, let the settlement grow. Here you can find extensive ground for research. Underwater cities, coral reefs and more. Raise your sail to better overcome obstacles and strive forward. With due diligence, you can fully support yourself. Collect rainwater, start fishing, get scrap from the bottom.

The sea is not only alluring and beautiful. This is a world full of dangers, here at any moment someone can try to rob you of your achievements or even your life. Your wards are very talented, able to turn drifting snags, garbage, everything that is collected from the water and from its surface into useful objects and a valuable resource.

Instructions

1. The first thing we do is download the game’s installation files.

Hotfix 0.1.8 Released

Gameplay

Seagull now has a separate salvage buoy. This is a temporary solution as a seagull would break when salvaging / fishing. This buoy can only salvage, not fish. The seagull behaviour will be changed again in the future.

Fixes

Fixed metal / plastic counters counting anything containing metal / plastic, which could lead to the wrong number showing in their respective counters.
Fixed being able to eject items out of boats, which would cause issues down the line.
Fixed issue where landmark actions would not always be reset properly. This could cause problems when loading a save.
Fixed issue where an agent would try to navigate to themselves when loading.
Fixed import not being cleared when cancelling recipes while the items are still on their way to the producer. This could cause the producer to get stuck.
[TEMPORARY] Fixed issue where wrong items would be in the import inventory of a producer. They'll be moved to the export inventory as a temporary fix until we can find the root of the problem.
Fixed issue where you could still interact with the UI when the game was over.
Fixed issue where cancelling a landmark interaction would make it impossible to interact with the landmark again.
Fixed issue where cancel button of landmark wasn't translated.

General

Constructions now need to be attached to at least one finished construction before they can be build.

Fixed issue where build resource UI wasn't correctly updated when building constructions.
Fixed issue where UI wouldn't correctly update after deleting a save game.
Fixed issue where constructions could be built without a pathfinding connection, resulting in errors and lagspikes.
Fixed issue where every agent portrait would be that of a seagull.
Fixed issue where autosaves would be made in limbo between 2 tiles.
Fixed issue where abandoned motorboat tile was noted as having fresh water, sadly it does not. Corrected.
