SiN Gold — is a game for PC, story start 2037 year. The police forces of the world were disbanded due to their incompetence in stopping the ever-growing waves of crime. Instead, private security companies have committed themselves to protecting citizens or entire companies from criminals for a fee. One of the best-known security services in Freeport is HardCorps under the command of Colonel John Blade.

About This Game

A massive bank robbery related to the hostage situation, apparently committed by the famous gangster Mancini, attracts the attention of HardCorps, and John is summoned to the scene of the crime. Further research reveals the existence of a powerful new drug called U4 and possible connections with a multinational biotechnology corporation known as SiNtech, which is guided by the beautiful and mysterious Elexis Sinclaire. With the help of his HardCorps counterparts, John will have to prevent a big threat and save the city.

SiN is a first-person shooter game using a modified version of the Quake II engine. John Blade is armed with a fairly standard arsenal of weapons for a shooter, starting with standard brass knuckles and a pistol and ending with heavy weapons such as a rocket launcher and plasma rifles. The game is noteworthy in that it is the first shooter to have missions based solely on stealth (that is, the game is automatically lost if a hero is detected). The game includes realistic damage effects: headshots are instantly effective, while shooting the enemy at the knees only makes it harder to move. SiN also includes the ability to hack into computer terminals to disable security.

Cutscenes are used to advance the plot between levels. At certain points, the result of the mission will differ depending on the player’s actions during it. By analogy with Duke Nukem 3D, SiN presents the main character who can spin, humorous «Easter eggs» and a medium with a high degree of interaction.
