The Tale of Bistun — is a story-driven action-adventure video game set in a fantasy universe. When creating a virtual world and setting, the developers were inspired by Persian myths and poems. The main character of the story is an ordinary man who worked as a stone carver. One day he wakes up on Beestone Mountain and does not remember anything about his past, and also does not understand how he ended up in this ill-fated place. Around him he sees that the local nature is dying, the earth is losing its vitality.

Over time, the protagonist of The Tale of Bistun realizes that some kind of dark force is present here and a previously unknown disease draws all the vital juices from the local flora and fauna. Exploring the virtual world and finding plot clues, it becomes known that only the restoration of ancient statues will restore balance and get rid of the dark force. To achieve this, the user can use a pickaxe.

The passage will not become a peaceful walk. The same disease that kills everything around also turns animals into terrible creatures that attack the protagonist at the first sight. Luckily, the stone carver was also an excellent fighter, able to take on multiple opponents at the same time. To regular attacks, the user can use a special ultimate ability that deals great area damage and helps to get out of the most difficult situation.
