In Dragon Quest Treasures, we’re watching from a third person perspective (TPP). We can take on the role of both Eric and Mia; the main characters share all the progress they’ve made, so there’s nothing stopping us from switching between them. In the game, we can explore a huge world, which consists of several islands with a unique topography and climate. Here you can find both icy wastelands and picturesque valleys, huge canyons or towering volcanoes. We are primarily engaged in finding treasures and taming the monsters living here. The latter are important to us because each of them has unique abilities that we use to get to hard-to-reach places.

The abilities of our wards also allow us to find treasures: with their help, we can easily find places where various valuables are buried. Then we must deliver the found gold, precious stones and other valuables to the base in order to find out their value and features. Along the way, however, you need to be on the lookout, as gangs are operating in Draconia, who will not miss the opportunity to get easy prey. Battles with them are dynamic, and in battle we use both the skills of heroes and the help of our monstrous companions. After we have safely reached the base, we can start identifying the collected treasures.
