The vast world offers plenty of opportunities to explore, where users are able to mine valuable items, trade and develop their base. Users can engage in a variety of activities, including defending their base from relentless waves of enemies. This aspect of tower defense gives the app a special depth, as gamers must plan and execute defenses while managing their resources.

The work supports both single-player and multiplayer modes, allowing participants to solve problems alone or team up with other gamers. With a strong focus on crafting and base building, Planetaries is a sandbox where players can shape their environment to suit their preferences.
