Deck of Haunts v1.21 (upd.13.12.2025) - TENOKE

Deck of Haunts puts the player in control of a sentient structure that functions as a ghost house. The main objective is to attract curious individuals to its pre-planned rooms. Once these individuals are inside, the player influences the environment and triggers certain events to systematically undermine the visitors' mental balance. This allows the entity of the house to absorb the energy they emit to increase its size and spread its influence in the surrounding area.

The whole process requires strategic planning when constructing the mansion itself, optimizing its layout to make it easier to catch visitors and then influence them. Gameplay in Deck of Haunts is divided into the stages of building design and the phases of active intimidation. First, you have to carefully think through the plan of the mansion, arranging rooms and possible traps in such a way as to create a winding and confusing route for uninvited guests.

Once the preparations are complete, the house lures adventurers inside, where they must use cards from their deck. These cards activate various events: sudden appearances, frightening sounds or changes in the environment in the corridors. The main task at this stage is to constantly increase the psychological pressure on the victims, driving them to madness, while protecting the vulnerable center of the mansion, the Heart Room, from detection or destruction. Successfully eliminating or driving people to madness brings the necessary energy resource, which is used to expand the structure itself and increase its bad reputation, attracting new targets.
