About The Game

The Necromancers Tale project combines research motives and visual novel mechanics. You can take control of the main character, who will do everything possible to achieve greatness. The events unfold in the 18th century, however, they offer an alternative course of events. Simply put, there is magic in this world. Power gives even more opportunities, expanding the horizons around the protagonist. But it can play a cruel joke on him destroy everything he has. In the project, the user will be able to immerse himself in conspiracy theories, problems of political views, many different and cunning weaves of the storyline.

The main character in The Necromancers Tale finds a mysterious magic book. He immediately opens it and begins his training. But as it soon becomes clear, she teaches dark spells. You will need to hide your powers from people, because no one treats such people positively. You will be able to communicate and interact with secondary non-player characters. When the character enters into dialogues with them, the lines are allowed to be chosen based on what the user thinks are most suitable. But it is worth understanding that this will radically change what is happening and can greatly affect the ending. As you progress, reason, moral principles and everything around you will change, you will have to solve moral dilemmas and step over yourself.

How to Install

1. The first thing we do is download the game files.

    Patch notes 1.199 - 1.202 
    Added a Mass Activate spell and an Auto Move button, both intended to speed up large combats and reduce micro-management (see explanation below)
    Fixed melee attack ranges (previously, sometimes 1-hex weapons were able to hit at a distance of 2, and sometimes 2-hex weapons were able to hit at a distance of 3)
    Put an extra dead-zone around the combat speedup slider to avoid accidental move-clicks when trying to slide it
    Improved enemy moves in combat so if their path is blocked they still move as close as they can get, rather than standing still

    ** New Spell: Mass-Activate **
    In addition to the existing Activate spell (which activates one minion at a time) this gives you a slider to pick how many minions you want to activate *and auto-move* all at once. This will probably be most useful in combination with normal Activate, rather than replacing it -- e.g. you might manually move a few critical minions on the front line of combat, and then let the rest auto-move to bring up reinforcements from further back with less effort.
