As the population grows, Town to City gameplay becomes more complex: it is necessary to satisfy the needs of different social classes, including workers, artisans, and the bourgeoisie. New citizens arrive with personal requests, move into available homes, and start families. The player assigns residents to positions to support the local economy, while simultaneously unlocking new buildings through the research tree.
This progression over time allows for the construction of highly specialized settlements focused on agriculture or tourism, facilitating regional development and establishing trade routes. The entire game is available in a campaign format with clear objectives and in sandbox mode without any restrictions. In both cases, the key objective is the systematic development of the community and its financial system at a leisurely pace. As the territory is developed, new towns can be founded, capable of growing independently or becoming part of a common supply network. A system of interconnected towns creates a unified economic zone, completing the transformation of a solitary hamlet into an agglomeration of thriving centers.
