Cast n Chill features a fishing system in a series of diverse lakes, rivers, and oceans. The main goal is to use a fishing rod to catch fish from the waters, as each location is home to its own species of aquatic life. During all fishing expeditions, the player is accompanied by a faithful dog, present at each location. A special catalog tracks the progress of collecting 50 fish species, including freshwater and marine creatures.

Cast n Chill offers two different modes of interaction, allowing you to customize the gameplay to your preferences. Active mode requires direct interaction to cast the line and reel in the catch, accelerating the pace of catching. Passive mode, on the other hand, allows the game to run autonomously, accumulating catch over time without constant player supervision.

This simulator also features a resizable window an option designed for a second monitor or for displaying alongside other programs on a single screen. Caught fish serve as a resource that can be exchanged for profit. The funds raised are then used to purchase upgrades for game equipment. New equipment opens access to species previously unattainable with standard gear. This economic cycle of catching, selling, and upgrading gear forms the basis for further progress, opening access to new territories and allowing you to expand your entire collection.
