Taival v0.3.0.370 (upd.16.07.2026)

Taival is a co op adventure RPG developed by Bonobo Software, where you team up with the last Henki, a shapeshifting creature who maintains balance in the world. Your mission is to collect the shattered shards of the shattered Heart Stone and restore it, exploring a meticulously crafted, blocky, voxel-style world spanning multiple seamlessly intertwined biomes. Henki's companion can absorb the essence of creatures encountered, transforming into their form and gaining unique combat and movement abilities from damage absorbing beasts to rock-climbing mounts and stealthy predators. You can adventure solo or invite up to three friends in a unique co-op system that allows for a combination of local split-screen and online play within a single session.

A variety of quests await you in the world, ranging from easy tasks like capturing rodent barrel thieves and settling goblin disputes to intense challenges like battling monsters in barbarian camps and battling giant insects. Progression occurs in two directions: developing your character's abilities and combat skills, and unlocking new Henka forms and mount abilities that open up new areas of the world. At key moments in quests, all players participate in group dialogue decisions, seeing each other's cursors and suggested options in real time. The game combines cozy exploration with deep RPG mechanics against a backdrop of rolling highlands, dense forests, and ancient ruins waiting to be discovered. Each biome offers unique landscapes, inhabitants, and secrets that reward careful exploration and experimentation with different Henka forms and party compositions.
