Pax Autocratica is a game about power and its consequences, where the construction of the state becomes an experiment on society. As the leader of Aurora, you create a regime that must not just survive, but prove its superiority. There are no "correct" decisions here - there are only effective and unsuccessful ones, and the price of a mistake is measured by the fate of thousands of people.

The main attention is paid to politics and social engineering. You issue decrees that change the fear, happiness and loyalty of citizens, forming a collective consciousness. Propaganda, repression or concern every instrument leaves a mark. Even the dreams of the population can become a resource of the state if the system is built rigidly enough.

Colony development is accompanied by expansion. You conquer new territories, wage wars with competing regimes and interfere in the balance of power in the Tyris system. Economy, logistics and military operations are woven into a single cycle, where management from above is combined with personal participation in battles, emphasizing personal responsibility for each order.
