"Snowed Under" is a first person horror adventure about shoveling snow in the mountains, created by Chilla's Art. The studio is known for its short and unsettling horror experiences, and this project follows that tradition with a strange and slow building mystery. The hero digs deeper and deeper through the snow, never knowing what will appear under the next layer.

The premise sounds quiet at first. Food, buildings, or something else entirely may be buried beneath the surface. The player clears the snow toward a steel tower in the distance, keeping the shovel moving and the path open. The estimated play time reaches about 24 hours, which makes this one of the longer stories from the developer.

Progress depends on the shovel. Scrap materials found beneath the snow let the player upgrade the tool and improve digging efficiency. Better equipment means faster progress and access to deeper areas, so the loop of dig, collect, and upgrade stays active through the whole game.

Different landmarks wait under the ice and snow. Buried buildings appear along the route, and each one hides something inside. The game slowly reveals what happened in this place, what is about to happen, and what the hero will think when the truth comes to light.

Between the digging sessions, the story unfolds through conversations with Kai, a friend of the protagonist. As the days pass, these talks grow deeper. Kai's thoughts and the hero's own feelings change along the way, adding an emotional layer to the frozen setting.

The atmosphere carries the horror. Isolation, silence, and the slow reveal of the past build tension without cheap scares. The snowy landscape stays empty for long stretches, which makes every discovered building feel important.

Snowed Under offers a long and meditative take on the classic Chilla's Art formula, perfect for players who want a slow burn mystery in a cold, empty world.
