Legends of Ethernal — is a 2D fantasy platformer. This is the debut project of the Canadian company Lucid Dreams Studio. The game is set in a fantasy land known as Arcanis. We play the role of a boy whose house is destroyed and his parents are kidnapped. The hero goes on an expedition to find out what happened to his family. Legends of Ethernal is a classic platformer. During the game we explore two-dimensional locations, collect items, avoid traps and fight enemies. The game focuses on skirmishes, offering a large selection of special attacks and frequent battles against powerful bosses.

The gameplay is varied with random puzzles and a crafting system in which we collect raw materials used to create new objects. Thanks to this, we get access to additional mechanics that significantly affect the course of the game. Legends of Ethernal offers several difficulty levels. In addition to the standard one, there is a hardcore option for those who want extreme challenges, and a children’s option, in which the game greatly helps to complete the campaign.
