Overview

Battles take place in a turn-based mode, and developing effective tactics is just as important as skillfully using individual combat units. Kaiju move quite predictably, moving from building to building. You can use this to your advantage by building military bases or airfields in their path to distract strong opponents. However, sooner or later our laboratories become targets for giants, so we must constantly be on the alert and be prepared for the need for a quick evacuation of such objects using trucks, boats or planes. The situation is complicated by the fact that Kaiju cannot be killed, but only slowed down or forced to retreat.

Although the monsters gradually evolve, increasing their strength, acquiring new abilities and becoming more dangerous enemies, our squads also evolve from mission to mission. By giving various upgrades to our subordinates, we make them more and more effective machines for killing monsters. Kaiju Wars features an extensive story campaign as well as a local multiplayer mode in which one player takes on the role of a kaiju while the other controls squads trying to stop him. In addition, the game has an advanced editor that allows you to create your own maps and scenarios, which can then be shared with the community.
