The organizations investigators use a process that allows them to dive into the minds of suspects during an investigation, giving them the opportunity to gain additional clues and leads. She is assisted in her work by her virtual partner, artificial intelligence Aiba, the same as in the first part.

About This Game
Overview
AI The Somnium Files Nirvana Initiative we return to a futuristic version of Tokyo. The plot revolves around the investigation of an unusual crime. Six years earlier, police had found half of the victim’s body. The action of the game begins after the second half is found. Surprisingly, despite the elapsed time, there are no signs of decomposition on the corpse. The player takes on the role of a new character named Mizuki, who is a newly minted agent of the secret police department known as ABIS.
