About The Game

Phantom Brigade — is a turn-based tactical strategy game where role-playing elements and a rich story are intertwined. The game takes place in the distant future. Where the world was divided by several huge corporation states. They started a bloody war and the player plays for one of the sides, where he controls a small squad, and the last of those who managed to survive in the slaughter. He needs to participate in various battles, as well as pump his warriors, explore the world and complete all sorts of tasks.

Full Description

Players will find a rich plot with incredible and vivid events, charismatic characters and unexpected twists in the story. The game is divided into dozens of challenging missions on extensive maps where you need to control a squad of the future with robots and other equipment. Each combat unit can be improved, bought new equipment and modified capabilities. The gameplay is designed for tactics of all actions and deliberate decisions. One of the chips is the complete destruction of surrounding objects. For example, if the target is hidden behind a huge wall, then you can simply punch a hole there and destroy the enemy. The graphics are at a good level, and if you consider that this is just a strategy, then everything is fine.

How to Install

1. The first thing we do is download the game files.
2. Unzip the archive to the hard disk.
3. Wait for the unpacking process to finish.
4. Start the game «phantom_brigade.exe» from game folder.
5. The language changes in the menu.

    FIXES
    Fixed ability to push movement actions into the past on the timeline
    Fixed inability to remove subsystems
    Fixed parts of buttons not accepting clicks in the mech customization screen
    Fixed legs and arms not displaying ankles/wrists in the salvage screen
    Modding Fixes
    Opaque portrait’s brightness reduced
    Kitbashing tools now allow for negative scales
    Fixed modding item visuals occasionally causing pilot pod to jump out of torso
    KNOWN ISSUES
    All audio except for cutscene audio will sometimes not play
    Tooltips can flow off the sides of the screen in some circumstances
    Occasionally destroyed mechs are flung around the map after viewing replay mode
    On launch, it seems audio is occasionally not playing on the main menu and in gameplay except for cutscenes. If you do encounter this please relaunch your game
    There is a chance of the province liberation event being interrupted by other post-combat events, meaning the opportunity to participate in the parade is not given to the player when the province is won
    Some events do not end correctly – this could be caused by playing with an older save file
    Sometimes patrols can get stuck behind the mobile base without engaging in combat. This can be resolved by entering liberated territory briefly
    Many maps that contain turrets do not also have generator buildings – turrets must be manually destroyed on these maps
    Performance issues are common
    Old code injection mods might need updating for 1.1 and might prevent the game from loading. If your game does not boot, please check whether you have any mods installed and try uninstalling them

    Changed the equipment available when starting a new game via Quick Start
    Now, all equipment that is gained during the tutorial is rewarded immediately in Quick Start
    Pilots will be randomly awarded experience based on the final experience levels of pilots in tutorial (it's different every time though!)
    Removed the tutorialization regarding the overworld from Quick Start
    Changed which missions have forced escalation
    This was artificially inflating the difficulty of some missions - some missions had promoted squads when they shouldn't have
    Only Assassination, Demolition and Break-in will have promoted squads at 1 star now
    Changed how unit integrity is summarized at the end of combat to no longer include shields
    Damage is now summed up only on body parts and backpacks
    Rebalanced the difficulty spike post-Western Pass
    Major Payload's first and second loadouts were swapped so that guided missiles are not used in the first mission he appears in
    Adjusted the heat dissipation values of armour equipped by the Experimental and Spec-ops factions to lower the firing rate of high-heat weapons such as railguns
    Reduced the number of units per Spec-ops squad that can spawn with a railgun
    Rebalanced the cargo carrier mission in the Western Pass
    Turrets level lowered to 1
    Flanking tanks level lowered to 1
    Flanking tanks loadout swapped to the Oneshot ML
    Player squad limit was increased to max (4 mechs)
    Player squad starting positions are now spread across both sides of the carrier
    Rebalanced the costs of the base upgrades
    If you already unlocked them, they'll stay unlocked

    Fixed backpacks not having liveries
    Fixed an issue in the backpack rarity weight table where the chances of dropping an uncommon or rare backpack as loot were basically zero
    Fixed enemy squads in the patrols of breakthrough provinces sometimes not having weapons when spawning (due to a faction mismatch)
