Heretics Fork v1.2.1.5 (upd.04.08.2024)

Heretics Fork is a dark card roguelike with tower defense elements where you play as the manager of Hell. Agree that this is a very unusual position, but you knew exactly where you submitted your resume. From now on, you will have to defend the rift leading to Earth so that hordes of heretics do not leave Purgatory and cause chaos in the world of the living. To do this, you will have to literally go through the nine circles of Hell and prove your effectiveness. Collect a set of cards at your discretion, choose demons to carry out tasks on the ground, and hone your strategy, because sinners are much stronger than you could imagine.

Join a killer team that always welcomes new faces. Heretic’s Fork was created by a solo developer who is passionate about the two aforementioned genres. By combining them, the creator managed to present players with a very original project with interesting mechanics. The fact is that, in essence, players need to create decks from existing cards, and then use them at the right time. You will have about a hundred cards at your disposal that offer not only the use of a certain type of attack, but also an action based on the type of defense, and only you can decide how to effectively play them depending on the situation.

The gameplay is conventionally divided into shifts, in each of which the complexity gradually increases. You start with a small influx of enemies, but gradually their number increases, forcing you to adjust your tactics every now and then depending on the progress of the enemies. It’s possible that you’ll get surrounded, so be vigilant and experiment with your deck.
