Phantom Brave The Lost Hero is a strategy RPG set in the ocean world of Yvoire where you play as Marona, a girl with the ability to communicate with spirits called phantoms. When ghost ships attack and separate Marona from her friend Ash, she teams up with a new ally named Apricot to assemble the legendary team that once defeated the ghost ships. The game features unique grid-less combat where you «chain» phantoms to objects on the battlefield, with different objects affecting their stats. You can also use «Confire» to combine phantoms with gadgets for powerful attacks, or «Confriend» to transform Marona herself. Over 50 unit types that can be recruited and customized open up a wide range of tactical possibilities. Despite the serious mission, the game maintains a lighthearted tone as Marona makes new acquaintances during her quest to rescue Ash and defeat the Shipwreck Fleet.
