Eventide Matter is an action RPG developed by Ottropi Games. In it, you play as the Vanguard 4 squad, tasked with constructing a Phase Gate to save the last survivors in a collapsing universe. You must mine six different materials and craft advanced components, racing against time as your home reality crumbles. The game features a deep tech tree with dozens of permanent upgrades and nearly 10 types of modules, including lasers, thrusters, tractor beams, drones, and shields, which you can unlock and upgrade.

Your mission takes place in an uncharted dimension inhabited by hostile crystalline lifeforms intent on halting your construction efforts. You must protect your progress by methodically assembling a portal from a variety of challenging levels. Gameplay combines resource gathering, crafting, and combat, with relentless enemies constantly pursuing you. Success means surviving long enough to complete the Phase Gate and ensure the evacuation of your civilization. The stakes are existential: fail, and both you and the fugitive fleet will be consumed by the cosmic collapse.
