ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN is a third-person sci-fi action game where the protagonist must eliminate numerous enemies. Gameplay is built around a combination of melee attacks and pistol shots. The core of the combat model is the blood absorption mechanic of defeated opponents this substance serves as a resource for activating the devastating Bloody Summer ability, capable of providing a decisive advantage in any encounter. To counter growing threats, a weapon modification and customization system is included, and the storyline, divided into individual episodes, is complemented by secondary missions for independent pace adjustment.

The plot centers on Romeo Stargazer, an FBI special forces operative who, after a cataclysm that disrupts the integrity of space-time, finds himself in a borderline state of existence. His primary goal is to hunt down criminals profiting from the general anarchy. To complete this mission in ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN, the protagonist must track fugitives through warped dimensions, skillfully combining sword strikes with pistol fire. Meanwhile, he strives to find his beloved Juliet, whose mysterious disappearance is directly linked to a global catastrophe. Restoring universal order will require him not only to collect enemy blood for the devastating Bloody Summer attack, but also to continually upgrade his arsenal to face increasingly powerful foes.
