Lost in Voice is a psychological horror film with a fractured narrative, taking you inside the life of John Hale, a musician whose life is slowly spiraling out of control. There's no clear beginning or direction: scenes emerge abruptly, end just as abruptly, and familiar locations feel as if they've been re-arranged. You watch the scene unfold, finding yourself unsure whether it's a memory, a dream, or something that shouldn't even exist. You walk through fragments of someone else's life that refuse to fit together.

A house might look normal, and then feel alien the next. Conversations sound half-meaningless, and you have to guess what happened before. At some point, you stop looking for the correct order and simply try to grasp what's going on with this person and where exactly everything went wrong. The sound is more oppressive than the image. Rustles, music, snatches of voices it all sounds as if you're not in the room, but in someone's head. Sometimes it's the sound that guides you, sometimes it confuses you, making you doubt every step. Gradually, you stop trusting your eyes and start relying on your senses, because logic hasn't worked as it usually does here.
