Truxton Extreme Build 23413016 (upd.01.08.2026)

Truxton Extreme is a 3D side scrolling shooter developed by Tatsujin that pits humanity against hordes of alien invaders and gigantic bosses. Gameplay relies heavily on muscle memory: you'll blast your way through ranks of enemies using an arsenal including the Power Shot, Truxton Beam, Thunder Laser, Homing Shot, and Star mine Shot. The visuals bring the classic retro aesthetic to full 3D, populating levels with mechanical snakes, metal tentacles, and needle like alien beasts.

In the animated manga style Story mode, you'll follow three characters as they level up as you progress through the story. Additional modes include the classic Arcade mode, a high score Arena mode, Training, and Tutorial. Co op players can join Team mode to share firepower, lives, and points with a friend. Original composer and classically trained pianist Masahiro Yuge created an explosive soundtrack featuring both brand new tracks and reworked classics from the series. As additional content, players can inspect defeated enemies in the "Model Viewer" or develop Pipir Village to help its adorable inhabitants evolve.
