About The Game

Timberborn — is a beaver simulator. Here is a city-planning simulator in which you will develop a beaver settlement. In this strange world, people have long been gone, and the vacant niche was occupied by beavers. Intelligent beavers will try to build a settlement, and you will help them in this, completely from a tree. This is a city-planning simulator in which smart beavers will build a new world. Yes, absolutely right! Beavers! Because of their stupidity, people completely destroyed their appearance, thereby freeing up a niche into which beavers were built. You will build a beaver settlement, the peculiarity of this settlement is that everything will consist of a tree. Now it’s hard to bring something to the gaming industry, which is why developers are releasing rather strange.

How to Install

1. The first thing we do is download the game’s installation files.
2. After downloaded, go to the folder and run the file «setup.exe».
3. During the installation, we specify the location on the disk where we want to install it.
4. At the end of the unpacking process, a shortcut appears on the desktop.
5. Start the game.

    Bug fixes
    • The game should no longer freeze on macOS during launch or when changing resolution.
    • Fixed a bug causing the game to freeze while loading on full screen.
    • Fixed a bug with Tribute to Ingenuity not working properly.
    • Fixed a bug that allowed the Iron Teeth to place Platforms on a particular tile within Rooftop Terrace.
    • Beavers occupying slots in buildings will now be properly displayed.
    • Fixed a bug with highlighting text in text fields.
    • Fixed a bug with kits being unable to grow because of too many attractions nearby. Sorry, Peter Pan.
    • Fixed the bug that allowed gathering goods from dead crops after reloading the game.
    • Fixed the gears overlapping in Large Windmill.
    • Fixed Water Dumps sometimes overflowing reservoirs.
    • Resources are now sorted alphabetically in the building’s inventory panel.

    So, how is Update 4
     treating you, folks? We've got a few experimental tweaks for you today.
    Misc.
    We dedicate these to all the beautiful modders that have come here tonight.
    Meshy files are now loaded with IAssetLoader rather than Resources.Load.
    It is now also easier to specify a bot faction thanks to the new BotId and SoundId fields added to the faction specification.

    Bug fixes
    Fixed the deconstruction tooltip that wouldn’t scale correctly.
    Fixed a crash related to building statuses.
    Beavers once again eat the food stored in a Gatherer Flag even when there's a bouncer bored beaver sitting at the entrance.

    With Update 7, we’re reducing the amount of downtime the players experience, and that - paired with the new content - required a significant rebalancing. This includes changes to mines and metal production, platforms, and tweaks to the effects of well-being. Also, Birches should now be meta better in the early game.
    Changed Mine’s and Efficient Mine’s basic recipe. The input is now Treated Plank 1x, the output is now Scrap Metal x5.
    Folktails’ Mine no longer has an extra recipe for Science Points.
    Iron Teeth’s Efficient Mine’s second recipe now has an input of 1x Treated Plank, 2x Extract, and an output of Scrap Metal x10.
    Mines and Efficient Mines now have 10 workers enabled by default, up from 5.
    Smelter now produces Metal Blocks twice as fast.
    For a small fee of 7500 SP, bots can now work in the Observatory. Just don’t come to us when they revolt.
    Power Wheel - lowered the cost from 40 Logs to 20 Logs.
    Large Power Wheel - lowered the cost from 100 Logs to 50 Logs.
    Mechanical Fluid Pump and Deep Mechanical Fluid Pump - lowered the cost from 100 Gears, 50 Treated Planks, and 50 Metal Blocks to 50 Gears, 25 Treated Planks, and 25 Metal Blocks. Lowered the SP cost from 5000 SP to 2500 SP.
    Lowered the unlock cost of Forester from 70 SP to 30 SP.
    Lowered Birch growth time from 9 days to 7 days.
    Slightly decreased planting and harvesting times for Birches and Oaks.
    Slightly increased harvesting times for Pines.
    Lowered Underground Pile’s capacity from 1800 to 1000 to make it less OP when combined with 3D terrain. But don’t fret, we also lowered its cost from 20x Logs, 80x Planks, 40x Gears to 20 Logs, 40x Planks, 20x Gears.
    Updated Platform’s cost from 2x Log, 4x Plank to 6x Plank.
    Updated Double Platform’s cost from 4x Log, 4x Plank to 8x Plank.
    Updated Triple Platform’s cost from 6x Log, 4x Plank to 10x Plank.
    Work speed now always increases by 20% with each well-being milestone.
    The work speed bonus at maximum well-being is now 260%, up from 170%.
    The base work speed bonus for bots is now 65%, up from 45%.
    Bots' Condition 1 work speed bonus is now 110%, up from 90%.
    Bots' Condition 2 work speed bonus is now 170%, up from 120%.
    Increased all attractions’ need gains to 0.6 per hour.
    Beaver Statue (Iron Teeth) - lowered the cost from 30 Metal Blocks to 20 Metal Blocks.
    Tweaked how much the needs satisfied by decorations and attractions deplete each day. For advanced attractions, their needs go down by 0.1, and for basic ones, by 0.2. For advanced decorations, their needs go down by 0.3, and for basic ones, by 0.4.
    Slopes’ and Stairs’ effect on range lines is now significantly lower.
    Excavator no longer needs Extract to operate.

    Misc.
    Buildings now show the network power fragment only when there is a generator or a battery in the network.
    The game now shows an info message when the save file is corrupted, instead of crashing.
    Modding
    The mod builder now auto-detects the build platform.
    The mod builder now correctly copies built DLLs on macOS.
    Fixed "Open mods directory after successful build" not working on macOS.
    MaterialRepository will no longer crash when materials are duplicated.
    Bug fixes
    Fixed Tubeways not being buildable from underneath in some situations.
    Removed the unnecessary horizontal scrollbar from the settlement panel.
    It is now possible to assign key bindings to the middle mouse button.
    Beavers now properly build buildings under overhanging terrain.
    The game should now crash less when there is a problem with file access. OneDrive — we fear you no more!
    Fixed shafts reversing for no reason. Hopefully for the last time.
    Windmills and Wind Gauge are now rotated properly after game load.
    The “No power” status no longer turns on after game load for a brief second.
    Fixed a crash when placing a building at the top of the world.

  6. Valves and sensors improvements
    New building: Fill Valve (5x Plank, 5x Metal Block, 300 SP). Automatically maintains downstream water level. The water level regulation logic replicates the old Sluice, and when plugged into a Contamination Sensor, performs all of its functions.
    Revised building name and cost: Throttling Valve (5x Treated Plank, 5x Metal Block, 500 SP), previously called Valve. Its role is maintaining a steady, adjustable flow rate in advanced setups.
    Revised buildings: Flow Sensor, Depth Sensor and Contamination Sensor are now 1 tile high.
    Misc.
    Updated Korean translation for Compact Water Wheel and No Power status.

  7. The layer tool no longer hides plane pilots if you click them first.
    Fixed the indicator's color customization showing up upon disabling color replication.
    Fixed the duplication tool overwriting the color replicated by the Indicator.
    Buildings that are stopped by automation no longer have their inputs carried out.
    Fixed a rare crash occurring while disabling the Steam overlay.
    Fixed reacting to keys pressed during the game load (for example, changing the game speed or selecting an object after a save loads).
    Beavers no longer drop goods if their workplace is paused and there is no other place to deliver them.
    Birch's occupation was lowered to 2 tiles to match the height of its model.
