Aquanox Deep Descent — is a first-person shooter that tells about a future in which humanity had to move to the bottom of the ocean, because they were unable to withstand global warming, bloody wars, economic crisis and radiation. However, here too, nature throws up a difficult life for the human race, because they have to fight against plankton nanorobots, destroying everything in their path. To combat the threat, humans have built huge combat submarines that control the gameplay. Ships are divided into different classes, including reconnaissance or siege ships. Various submarine captains bring additional bonuses to the sub. The gameplay in PC game Aquanox Deep Descent is represented by an arcade game, where you need to catch the enemy in sight and release a volley from all the guns. In parallel, it is required to maneuver and dodge enemy shells. Considering that the ships are large in size, it will not work out quickly, so it is worth calculating the timings as accurately as possible and thinking over the strategy. Deep Descent offers missions to explore the underwater world. Some parts of the map open only after the completion of some storylines. Simple RPG mechanics include looting, mining, trading and flexible customization of the shuttle’s appearance. The cooperative allows four players to play simultaneously. Local PvP contains two modes: Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch Dogfighting.
