The game takes place in a magical fantasy land, and we again play as a warrior named Adol, the main character of all the previous parts of the series. At the beginning of the story, he is already a very experienced character, whose fame has reached all corners of the world. Ys IX Monster Nox takes place in and around Baldeux.
