About The Game

Lords of Solgrund combines elements of real-time strategy, city-building and other unique additions. The game features detailed animations, complex gameplay systems inspired by the early Middle Ages, combined with magical, spiritual and other fantasy elements that are based in a very different reality than ours. Join the Lords of Solgrund community in Discord to share your thoughts, ideas, and receive the latest updates and additional development information. Before starting the game, you have to choose a combination of character and school of magic. Each character has several positive or negative qualities, such as handicaps in certain studies, lower market prices, strong or weak soldiers, and much more. Your school of magic then determines which spells your mages will have access to.

Full Description

Each school of magic has its own theme with a set of spells associated with it. During the game, you will manage your economy and make sure that your people have enough food and decent housing. Houses can be upgraded to have higher income and hygiene, but also require more necessities and luxuries such as furniture, clothing or jewelry. Create your own maps, campaigns or mini-scenarios using the game editor and share them with other people. The game is designed to support as many languages as possible, you can volunteer to help translate the entire game into your native language or any other language you are fluent in. Localization of maps and campaigns is also possible.
