But at the same time, the main innovation is that now the game goes into 3D, and thanks to this it takes on a completely different image. According to the developers, big changes await players in the combat system, and in combat mechanics in general, and not only. Not only have the heroes themselves been significantly redesigned and received many new features, but also during the battles you will now have to think about each new step and action.

Speaking of heroes, you will have at your disposal both the old heroes from the first part and the new ones. This is the Leper, and the Warrior, and the Marauder with his unusual abilities, and the Plague Doctor, and the Rogue, and the Warrior. Each character is unique in its own way, and each has unique abilities and combat capabilities. And of course, the developers did a good job on the atmosphere. Now, if the rumors are to be believed. the game will fully demonstrate the atmosphere of the impending apocalypse, distorting the local world outside the Manor. And in Darkest Dungeon 2 there will already be more than one location, and you will have to visit not only small locations, but also in the mountains and in the city.

Instructions

1. The first thing we do is download the game’s installation files.
2. Unzip the archive to the hard disk.
3. Mount or burn the ISO image in the disk emulator (UltraISO program). 
4. After mount ISO, go to the folder and run the file «setup.exe».
5. During the installation, we specify the location on the disk where we want to install it.
6. Copy the contents of the folder «CRACK» in the folder with the game.  
7. Download and install Update v1.01.53444 + Update v1.01.53677 + Update v1.02.54580, in game folder.
8. Launch the game!

1.01.53444 - Chirurgeon's Table - Hotfix
 
A new hotfix has been released with the following updates:
 
Fixed issue allowing heroes to gain extra actions while already on an extra action turn when they shouldn't
With the fix to extra actions, Wagon Jack and Jester's Encore are now incompatible. While equipped with the Wagon Jack Stagecoach item, using Jester's Encore on a hero with a Repair token in a Repair battle will result in the hero not receiving an extra action from the Repair token as they cannot gain an extra action while on an extra action turn provided by Encore
Chirurgeon's Leucotomy now applies a unique buff to Carrion Eaters
Fixed a softlock issue with the Act 2 Confession Boss and interactions with the new Corpse Light Infernal Flame

1.02.54580 Darkest Dungeon II - September Update - Retail Release
 
Our latest quality of life update has completed its public beta period and is now available for all game owners on Steam and the Epic Games Store. We want to thank everyone who submitted feedback during the beta. Overall, the changes received an overwhelmingly positive response, and we were able to take the feedback we received and use it to tweak and refine these new features.
 
Darkest Dungeon II remains our studio's whole focus, and we look forward to sharing more updates and expansions with you!
 
Monster Death Armor: We have introduced an entirely new mechanic for how monsters deal with Death’s Door. Previously, some monsters had Deathblow Resistance just like heroes. This sometimes led to incredibly frustrating moments where a lucky monster would defy all odds and survive endless blows.
 
We listened to the feedback and decided to rework the system. Now, death protection for monsters is token based rather than resistance percentage based. Monsters who previously had Death Resistance will now have one or more Death Armor tokens. When such a monster is reduced to 0 hp, the first Death Armor token is consumed. Further damaging blows consume one Death Armor token each. When the monster has no further Death Armor, damage will kill them outright.
 
We hope that this change will reduce the worst of the maddening RNG elements present in battle, and allow for more concrete tactical play. We have made adjustments to all skills, quirks, and items that have previously interacted with Death’s Door Resist to now engage meaningfully with the new token based system. Specifically, some skills and effects have the execution keyword, which allows for bypassing a set amount of Death Armor entirely.
