Agatha Christie Murder on the Orient Express is an adventure game based on Agatha Christie’s bestselling novel Murder on the Orient Express. It was developed by Microids, also responsible for the Syberia series of the same genre. Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express takes place on a train, the main character of which is Hercule Poirot, the legendary detective. He is tasked with solving a crime committed against one of the passengers. Unlike the original book, the game has been modernized and takes place in 2023.

The detective’s task is not easy, because each passenger hides his own secrets, many have a motive. One of these passengers is Joanna Locke, the second playable character we play as her during flashbacks that take place outside the Orient Express.
