Necesse is an adventure sandbox with a procedurally generated world. Controlling the main character, you need to rebuild a settlement and upgrade your character. Traveling around the world, the protagonist meets different characters. You can take quests from them or trade with NPCs. In the dungeons you can find powerful weapons. Using weapons in Necesse you need to fight a huge number of enemies. Their defeated opponents drop unique items. They can be sold or disassembled for parts. Each island is represented by individual biomes. Ore and treasures are mined in dungeons. By bringing loot to the settlement, you will need to upgrade your territory. It is necessary to protect your lands from enemy raids. Alchemical abilities are available, allowing you to create various magical items. Each player can have a pet. If you level up the required perk, the protagonist can tame and ride a large animal in order to travel across the vast expanses of the world.
