Day of the Shell v1.1.12 (upd.16.01.2026)

Day of the Shell is a tactical roguelike where strategic decisions and their consequences are executed with one click per turn. In this world, the deities have unleashed their power, leaving behind only a network of remote islands surrounded by water. The main character is a lone monster hunter, armed with a revolver and pursuing a clear goal. Traveling through a fractured world, she intends to challenge the entities that caused the cataclysm. Moving forward requires the player to carefully plan and manage resources.

Failure is an integral part of the adventure, because defeat does not mean the end. After each death, the huntress returns to her home island - a permanent central location. From here, she can apply permanent improvements that are saved for future attempts. This mechanic allows you to reconsider your chosen tactics or build before starting your next campaign. The cycle of exploration, failure, and improvement defines the basis of development in this game.
