The Royal Writ v1.1.0.1 (upd.29.12.2025) - TENOKE

The Royal Writ is a turn-based deckbuilder where cards become subjects on a tactical battlefield. Players command these units, positioning them to attack the enemy stronghold. Any card that reaches the enemy base before victory is permanently destroyed, leaving the deck for the rest of the run. This sacrifice system is a key element of the strategy, as the story of each fallen warrior becomes part of the kingdom's annals.

The army in The Royal Writ is made up of animals with unique traits and abilities. Among the ranks may be a wounded flamingo, a chicken archer with poor eyesight, or a lizard that sheds its tail to avoid permanent death. Troops range from renegade ants to a literal sacrificial lamb, and each has its own purpose. Along the way, the gamer will meet other creatures: a mantis dentist, a goat tactician, and an impatient boar shopkeeper.

The game features two separate campaigns. The first adventure involves putting down a rebellion, navigating through dangerous environments like toxic swamps and deep pits while questioning the state of the kingdom. The second campaign introduces gunpowder into the gameplay, forcing players to develop new strategies to avoid bullets from experimental weapons. Both journeys feature unique card sets, bosses with special mechanics, and relics with effects that change the way you play.
