Forsaken Island is a survival adventure that casts you in the shoes of Captain Elias Blackbone, a cursed pirate trapped as an undead skeleton on a mysterious island. After the wreck of your ship, you must explore a variety of biomes, from eerie jungles to sunken graveyards, and uncover the dark secrets of the cursed treasure that bound you to this fate.
The game's signature feature is the bone-setting system, which allows you to rebuild your skeletal body by collecting bones and relics, replacing broken limbs to gain new abilities such as improved climbing or brute strength. In combat, you'll be able to use improvised weapons such as bone-crafted swords and flintlock pistols against supernatural foes including ghostly sailors and cursed beasts. You'll traverse four distinct zones filled with environmental puzzles and secrets, from the Shipwreck Coast to the Ash Crater.
The survival mechanics require you to craft tools, traps, and shelters using your pirate knowledge and scavenge resources from sunken ships and ruins. The narrative evolves as you collect pieces of a cursed treasure, uncovering its origins and forcing you to make choices that will determine whether you regain your humanity or rule the island as an undead overlord. This adventure combines exploration, combat, and crafting in a supernatural pirate setting, where every decision determines your ultimate fate.
