Thief VR Legacy of Shadow is a full-fledged return of the legendary franchise, brought to virtual reality for the first time, offering a new perspective on the familiar world. The story unfolds in a gloomy, steampunk-inspired City. The protagonist is Magpie, a young and cunning thief forced to steal to survive on the streets controlled by the tyrant Ulysses Northcrest. Her mentor in this dangerous craft is Garrett himself, the master thief from the original games. The plot revolves around the discovery of a mysterious artifact that holds the legacy of the past.

The gameplay emphasizes deep immersion, achieved through VR technology. Interacting with the environment is tactile, from picking locks and opening secret compartments to pickpocketing. Moving through the non-linear levels of Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow involves acrobatic elements, such as climbing rooftops and exploring hidden alleys. Each mission offers a variety of playstyles, offering a choice between stealthy evasions and silent takedowns from the shadows, allowing you to tailor your playstyle to your preferences.
