Sherman Commander v1.6 (upd.01.07.2026)

Sherman Commander offers a completely new perspective on World War II, depicting it from the perspective of tank crews. Players become members of a Sherman tank crew, moving in a column of similar vehicles, participating in key battles and engagements. German soldiers will do everything they can to prevent the soldiers from reaching their objective, but their firepower must be sufficient to accomplish their missions. It's important to note that Sherman Commander is a simulator, so much attention is paid to the direct operation of the tank and control of all its systems. For example, the gunner, loader, commander, and other team members must work together to make quick decisions and prioritize in combat.

If the enemy is using artillery and anti-tank guns, it's essential to locate them as quickly as possible and destroy them before it's too late. To issue orders for example, to aim and fire at a target, the player must select the appropriate weapon, then position it correctly and open fire. If the situation doesn't require the use of a cannon, a machine gun can be used to clear a stronghold or neutralize shooters behind cover. It's important to note that the system doesn't guarantee high accuracy even with precise aiming. Therefore, if an enemy misses while stationary, don't be surprised. Tactical considerations are also important. Fighting in urban environments is more difficult due to the large number of blind spots. Players may simply not have time to react to the appearance of another enemy tank, and in those few seconds, they could suffer critical damage. Therefore, using the map, you can develop a movement plan and avoid unnecessary firefights.
