Drill and Delve is a sci-fi survival adventure whose level architecture is based on the total destruction of a voxel-based environment. Progression requires spatial thinking, as each removed rock layer affects the stability of adjacent structures. Gravity is a stern judge. Careless destruction of supports inevitably triggers deadly avalanches. Instead of monotonous drilling, gamers must plot safe movement vectors while managing dwindling oxygen reserves. Unconventional equipment discovered in abandoned mines radically changes tactics. Secret tools allow for controlled collapses to clear debris. Physics engine transforms the attempt to escape into a complex analytical task.

The plot takes place inside a colossal mining complex belonging to a megacorporation. The protagonist, known as Miner 13, finds himself trapped at great depths after a massive disaster. The environment offers no direct text clues. The title forces players to independently gather information about the causes of the collapse through visual narrative. Drill and Delve masterfully creates an atmosphere of isolation, where silent ruins conceal the secrets of greedy leadership. Only cold calculation will help escape the stone trap. Every meter deeper into the planet increases the value of decisions.
