Legionbound is a classic-inspired RPG autobattler where controlling a small starting squad quickly escalates into commanding a colossal army of 50 adventurers. While encounters are fully automated, success in battle is determined by the careful placement of units in lanes and the timely use of unlockable magic spells. Strategic preparation, including acquiring passive artifacts and fine-tuning active skills, is a priority. Large-scale battles with hordes of monsters devolve into orderly chaos, requiring constant situational analysis and adaptation to the rapidly increasing difficulty of the enemy onslaught.

The progression structure is divided into two fundamental paths, determining the pace of interaction with the world. Endurance mode challenges you to hold defensive positions for as long as possible, replenishing your ranks with new recruits under constant enemy pressure. The story-driven adventure is a roguelike journey, constructing special fortifications and overcoming risky zones for valuable rewards. Even in complete defeat, accumulated experience points allow you to unlock important modifiers, making each subsequent attempt more personalized. This cyclical system turns any failure into a solid foundation for future triumphs on the battlefield.
